Talon(R) Self-Retracting Lifeline

Unlike acceleration-based seatbelt technology used in other self-retracting lifelines, the Talon uses technology based on velocity. This eliminates the problem of simple movement causing false looking, often experienced with other self-retracting lifelines.  The Talon has an all-metal braking system with an antiratcheting dual pawl design.  The pawls operate independently for greater safety.  Other features include a built-in anchorage connector with a spring-loaded locking pin, 1” nylon webbing, impact-resistant nylon housing, and an impact indicator to warn when the unit needs to be replaced.  An audible indicator ensures that the unit is functioning properly.  Provides a maximum arresting force of 900 lbs.  All models meet applicable OSHA, ANSI and CSA requirements.
