PTL™ Push-To-Listen Earmuffs

Workers who wear earmuffs in dangerous high-noise environments no longer have to remove them to hear fellow workers speak.  Simply push the button on the battery-operated PTL (Push To Listen) earcup and it activates the listening mode for a 30-second interval, safely amplifying conversation up to 87 dB, allowing the worker to hear it clearly and unmuffled.  After 30 seconds, the earmuffs return to their full protection mode, with an NRR of up to 26 dB.  Throughout the process, the PTL Earmuffs remain safely in place, providing the hearing protection workers need.  PTL Headband styles have a wide, padded headband and four-point steel suspension system which hold the earmuffs firmly to the head without uncomfortable pressure.  Patented liquid- and foam-filled ear cushions offer optimum comfort and a sure seal.  Pivoting earcups tilt easily for easy access.  The Hi-Viz PTL is ideal for use by road construction, airport and utility workers.  PTL Earmuffs are also available in a Cap-Mounted style.  (Cap-Mounted PTL has an NRR of 25 dB.)  Note: The Push To Listen feature is in one earcup only.  The other earcup is a standard protection style.
