In an emergency situation, every second counts until workers can reach safety. The EEBA provides portable respiratory protection to workers while they are leaving work areas which have been contaminated. EEBAs are ideal for use in chemical and petrochemical industries, laboratories and paper mills. A clear, detachable polyurethane hood offers good visibility with a secure neck seal for a complete barrier against contaminants. To minimize fogging, a deflector blows incoming air onto the lens. The aluminum cylinder is lightweight and refillable, and complies with DOT regulations. They carrying bags are bright yellow or orange for high visibility in an emergency situation. Models 845 and 850 provide 42 lpm of air flow over five and ten minute time spans; Model 855 provides 75 lpm for five minutes, which is ideal where escape routes require high levels of exertion. Model 855 also features a diffuser/muffler system that reduces noise inside the hood.
